The all new compact series featuring the Clip-Lok System is designed to meet the needs of today's contractors. Its compact size allows for use in tighter quarters and the exclusive Clip-Lok System provides convenient, hands-free, transportation of the drill while offering a convenient place to store the tool while working. The Clip-Lok System securely attaches to the user's belt so the drill is always within reach. Higher speed allows for faster drilling and fastening, and high torque provides the power to use larger bits and drill larger holes. The 14.4 volt model features a 1/2 in. single-sleeve ratcheting chuck for superior grip on bits (bits slip less minimizing downtime). A cushioned, soft-grip, non-slip handle reduces vibration and maximizes comfort. On-board bit storage holds up to two extra driver bits. The patented reversible battery feature allows for use in tighter spaces and provides ultimate balance. The newly designed Worklight features the Clip-Lok System allowing for placement on either side of the user for hands free operation of the light while working in areas where extra light is needed.

Milwaukee NiCads have a well earned rep for being JUNK. The tools are great but Milwaukee NiCads SUCK. Buy DeWalt or Makita or Lith Ion if its Milwaukee u have to have
Honestly I haven't even used the drill yet. When I compared the price of 2 new batteries to the cost of this set I figured I might as well just get the set.
This is the third of these that I have and couldn't ask for a more dependable tool.
The Milwaukee 14.4 Volt drill/driver is recommended for purchase. The drill is comfortable to hold. It works as expected. It is easy to change bits, easy to drill and easy to recharge.
I purchased this 14.4 combo set back in December 2006. I depend on both batteries. It is now June 2008 and one of my batteries is totally dead. I use the drill heavily. Now I am down to one and the warranty for NiCad batteries is 1 year. I like the drill but now instead of spending mucho $$$ on another battery I will probably go with a different brand.Drill and worklight are both great though, just not without a battery.
